The room's pretty small but I think the value for the money we paid is fine. The restroom has a certain smell that didn't go away for the 3 days we've been there. :( Benny's quite helpful. Very polite. Location is convenient, couple of minutes walk to the MRT station.

Room size was ok considering the price you pay. It'd be much nicer if the hotel offered throw-away slippers since the floor was kind of sticky (doesn't look dirty, but just sticky). Someone brought in durian, hotel staff should've paid more attention!

There are many "fragrance" hotels in Singapore. Make sure you do not choose Ruby! Its located on Lor 20 Geylang. Directly outside the hotel, all along the street is a lot of "ladies of the night", who constantly hassle you as you walk past. You can see the s3x trade from the room windows, all through the night (and even the day). It seems like the hotel has embraced this as the matresses are covered in plastic, easy for cleaning away "fluids". The bathroom is tiny. The toilet and shower are right next to eachother, and the shower has no curtain, so everytime you have a shower the bathroom becomes flooded. The rooms electricity is key operated, so you cannot leave the air conditioning on when you leave the room (and with Singapores heat, it can be a bit uncomfortable). The room was very small (and barely fit our 2 suitcases in them). I would only suggest this hotel if you are backpacking and have a VERY tight bidget, as the price is very cheap. However if youre looking for a bit of luxury, i would not stay here. One of the only benefits is it is close to a train station, and a laundry which is located on Lor 34 (the lady who works there is LOVELY and gives great tourist advice)

traveller with family to move around as it is near
RED-LIGHT area

It is a good hotel.Reasonable priced.Staff helpful.No hickups. It is clean and conviniently located for quick local cheap transport.
Good choice for singles, or group of young visitors who wants to enjoy " Singapur by Night" for few days.
