If you arrive before noon time in Singapore, this hotel might not be a convenient choice, since rooms are generally available only after 3 pm. You can squeeze your luggage into a hotel storeroom that is already full with luggage up to the ceiling. That is all.

Quite improved compared to the first time I came 3-4 years ago. Chose it due to promotion price over other Fragrance Hotels and Hotel 81s, but it isn't the closest to buses and MRT stations. Room was clean, and basic (as expected), in good shape, no broken fixtures or anything of that sort (a big turn-off) - better than some of the other Fragrance Hotels I've stayed in. TV had good range of channels to choose from. This particular Fragrance Hotel had a lot of families staying, perhaps because it was at the "cool end" of the red light district - relatively quiet outside in comparison to others closer to Geylang Road.

Value for money is all worth it. Next time though, i will have to look for another Fragrance in a different location.

the staff as an advice shoul always a Smile in their faces so that the guest would feel happy also. they should always say a greeting whenever they see guests. in our stay there, i come to know that they do not change blankets or coversheet everyday which shoul not be that way.the guest must be guaranteed of new linens n evrything in the that must be new evryday because we are paying for it.

excellent budget hotel close to all admneties e.g. MRT, Taxi, restaurants.

Simple and clean hotel good enough to stay overnight. The service is good and air conditioner is controllable. TV is rather old and no good picture. Otherwise good value for money.

decent hotel, close to bus station that brings you to the city centre, not too far from airport

i ever stay at another fragrance in geylang , same area but i think fragrance crystal is best coz room is bigger for another and have keycard

From the Arrival Terminal 2 at the Changi airport you can take the MRT and within 10 minutes at a rate of 3.60 Singapore Dollars (1 Singapore Dollar will be refund by the MRT.) you stop at the Aljuniet station. Only 5 minutes walk and you are at the hotel. The Hotel is located in the Red Light District, and therefor not suitable for kids. I use the hotel just as a cheap transit sleeping place and for that purpose it is OK. Nearby you find enough places to eat and drink. So enjoy yourself.

good value for money, never feel that you stays in singapore, interms of "singapore is expensive". not reccomand for families specially with children, as it has a adult outerlook due to red light street specially in the night.Plenty of eateries available souround and it really gives You variety of food at a very affordable price.excellent staff.In rooms serve only In room given only coffe mix and good to have tea packets and sugar too. next visit also I prefer to stay in fragrance chain.

i think the hotel is good for the travelers who want cheap but clean hotels. near with bus stop and so many restaurants (by 5minute walking you will see a lot of restaurant)

... the location in Geylang isn`t very nice, especially at night I can imagine some people not feeling at ease while walking around the area.

It was my second time in Singapore, this time with my wife, not alone.
Last time, due to my interview and conference, I stayed at NTU hall of residence. In my first trip to Singapore I enjoyed it a lot which I transferred my experience to my wife and praised Singapore alot, the amenity, cleanliness and lovely strict rules with good disciplines were the obvious features of this little neat and tidy country.
But, when we alight the MRT at ALJUNID station, untidiness, mess and dirty streets of Geylang repelled my wife and me. The district was full of odd people who did not obey the Singapore regulations.
The Hotel was far from the MRT station and it took us around 45 minutes to find it. Normally it takes 20 minutes to go by walk without any luggage or something else.
The district maybe attractive for some tourists because it was the Center of Whores. You can see bundle of them by the street with price range of S$40-200. Many humane aquariums and night clubs were located on the Hotel neighborhood and was good for night life. But poverty was the obvious criteria the most people of Geylang. Later, my friends confirmed my idea.
The hotel was good, neat and tidy, with warm and good staffs.There was no free WiFi, every 1 hour costs 4 Sing Dollars, and 24 for whole day.
In short, the Hotel was not bad( one star, rather than 2 stars), bad location, but among the cheapest in Singapore. I do suggest it for couples who are looking for a little bit cheaper and clean Hotel.
