Staff were etremely helpful and pleasant to deal with. Good variety of fruit and teas at breakfast Tv seemed to be set on sporting programs perhaps some more instructions how to use

I stayed at the Forrest Inn for 2 nights while attending a conference in Canberra. The location was perfect, the reception staff helpful and courteous, the room was very comfortable, well equipped and pleasantly decorated, the bed was very good with plenty of extra pillows etc. All electrical appliances worked and the shower was excellent. My only disappointment was that the particular room I had had no garden and courtyard views -- in fact it was located up against the main building and looked out to a dark wall a metre away, luckily I was only there during the evening so it was not so much of a problem. I will happily stay at the Forrest Inn again but would be sure to always request one of their many rooms with a decent view and good light.

Reception staff friendly,helpful in all aspects. The location was excellent for our purposes, nearby galleries,coffee shops etc, not far to Parliament house,National Gallery etc to name but a few. Wellsign posted at front for travellers to find and easy for the likes of from the "bush so to speak" to find We will definitely call again and you were recommended to us by a friend who stays with you if in Canberra.

the hotel facilities are good except for the air-conditioner making a little noises. It's clean and in a convenient location. The staff provide professional services, but if they can smile a bit more, it would be better.

Hotel location and staff were excellent - very good location for business and short stay - good pubs and restuarants around to eat if you do not want to cook. I would recommend this hotel to others.

Two familys went on a first time trip to Canberra with their kids and had a wonderful time and the staff at Holiday Inn were extremely helpful and friendly!

location is brilliant. we had our son's wedding in St Andrews just up the road and the reception was at the forrest bowls club so we couldn't have been situated more conveniently. normally we stay with one or other of our children but on this occasion we needed somewhere handy to the wedding venue so it suited us just fine.

This is our second stay at the Forrest Inn Apartments and we enjoyed it very much. It's always good to come back each day from sight seeing around Canberra to a well appointed and comfortable place!
Also the apartments are very close to all the major attractions in Canberra.
We will probably go there again next year and we would recommend it to all our friends.

We found the room cleanliness was fantastic. The eletronic appliances were all top of the range and looked brand new.
The location was perfect for our trip.

Having spent 5 hours at an Airport waiting for a one hour flight to Canberra we both really appreciated what we were greeted with at Forrest Inn and Apartments. The location was excellent and we enjoyed a lovely meal at The Italian Australian Club right next door. We could not complain about anything at all. Would be more than happy to stay again. Many thanks to all.

This was our first stay in Forrest Inn.
Our room was clean and serviced every day.
It was in a quiet location with no traffic noise.
The restaurant was booked out the night we arrived. However, we were next door to the Italian Club which has two restaurants and a bar.
It is an easy walk to Manuka where there are many restaurants, shops and a large supermarket.
It was convenient to be close to the Parliament, the National Art Gallery and other tourist attractions of Canberra.
We were a short stroll from the Canberra Bowling Club where visitors can play bowls and there is a bar.
Our daughter-in-law, her parents and our grandchildren were staying in the Forrest Apartments next door. The children had a grassed garden and a nearby park to play in.

Did not use the hotel at all Daughter had double bed which was comfortable for her but the single, had a definetly slant to the side and was uncomfortable. This will not stop me from booking with you again as your position was good for us.

The little step into bathroom needs to be addressed - I stubbed my toe on it.
