Made the booking by internet just by seeing the pictures and reviews. The hotel was much better than expected. Our family had a wonderful time. Would recommend it without any reservations.

My stay in this hotel met my expectations. I even extend my stay for one more nite @ the same rate. The staff especially the Bell Service staff was curteous and helpful. A pleasant welcoming and departing from them. The room are comfortable with an LCD TV. Newspaper for room guest was also provided. The hotel facilities were excellent. My children enjoyed the swimming pool. Room service was excellent. However, breakfast was so-so and could be improved. I have stayed @ the hotel before when it was known as Crown Prince Hotel but to compare I am more impressed with Flamingo By The Beach with it's new look. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is newly renovated, the room is very clean and big with balcony directly viewing the sea (for sea veiw room). The hotel is sharing the same beach with Paradise Sandy Beach, swiming pool is big and clean, better than the one at Paradise hotel. The price is cheap comparing to other hotel nearby. In side room has TV (34"), safe box, refrigerator but no bathtub. Walk in rate are always higher than internet rate. When asked at hotel counter, quoted RM300nett, I booked with HolidayCity, Paid only RM238. Buffet breakfast is a bit drawback, not tasty and limited choice. Not much facilities They are water sports ready for visitors, prepare to pay higher rate during peak season.

It was just an average hotel that i had been stayed before. May be it was due to the hotel still new, a lot of facilities still no ready yet. There is no lift direct going down to the car park. And amazingly there is no tooth brush set provided with a cost of Rm200++ value of money.......

My stay in the hotel met my expectation. However, I would like to highlight one matter which does not up to my expectation.

The hotel can't provide the iron & ironing board to our hotel room. We need to go to the ironing room at certail level in order for us to do ironing. It is so inconvenient as we carry all our clothing to that floor. At least ironing room should be situated at every level. Furthermore the ironing room does not provide good facilities in hanging the clothes. The room are not well tidy up.

I hope these matter can be improved to further satisfy your customer.

Stay in this hotel met my expectation and enjoyed my time in this hotel. Impressed by the seaview location day and night time.
Breakfast was the best, value for extra charge.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking in this location.

The Hotel was in a convinient location-beach front and bus stop to get to the town or night markets right outside the hotel.
For the price we paid per night the service and room were ok. The bathroom was not very clean and the room was not cleaned properly every day.
Breakfast was fine.
We learned during our stay that the hotel was about to change ownership which explains a lot.
We still had a lovely holiday there.

The location is convenient considering the short distance to Georgetown and at the same time you can enjoy staying at the beach. This is excellent hotel for the family outing.

This is not my first time staying at this hotel. In fact, when i travel to penang every year, this was my chosen hotel (other than those at Batu Ferringhi as i consider them quite a distance to Gurney Drive). But lately, i've notice that the staffs there are not courteous and i would need to call the housekeeping three (3) times just to get an extra towel and blanket. One of my two deluxe connecting rooms bathroom had a broken door at the bottom and it stank. One room's hair dryer is not working.

The equipments at the so-called gym are really a pitiful sight. My family stayed there for 2 nights but we were served the same varities of food for breakfast for the 2 days. The second day of the breakfast was without anybody manning the egg counter. They just fried a whole bunch of eggs and left it there.

This hotel was just a three star hotel when i stayed there and i continued staying there until they were upgraded to four star. I think they should remain at three star or even two star based on the services they provided and the overall condition of the hotel which i think they really really need a new coat of paint for the whole building, it's condition is really deplorable based on a four star hotel.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as i think it's not worth it.

If the room rate inclusive of breakfast then it would be very value for money.. Room light was not bright enough and some of the room amenties was doesn't work. The worse thing is the hot water was not work due to leaking...

The House keeping service took about few hours to send ut a box of tissue. The bed was big but the bedsheet wasn't big enought to cover and also the bed was actually broken.

Provide more facility and make a maintenance about the gym. Not very clean the bathroom. TV cahnnel not clear.

the food selection did not vary from 1st to 2nd day infact on the 2nd day, even the egg selection was taken off and just fried eggs was served We had requested for additional towels as there were 3 of us, from the point of booking and they had informed us that they had run out of towel
