The location is strategic near airport and with a cafe opposite the hotel. Name of the cafe is Cactus. They served good breakfast and dinner. The place was quite run down. Room is spacious but no coffee nor tea provided. No hair dryer. However they do provide on request. Overall, was ok. Able to enjoy the facilities of Holiday Villa which is under the same management, I think.

Holiday villa was a good choice for my Langkawi visit. It was situated on a large compound and the environment was clean, green and homely. The rooms were very large and neat, the facilities also good. The only minus was the size of the bed especially for guests with families. There were private balconies for the rooms but more has to be done for insect control. Outside the hotel has clean, family friendly large pools and a jacuzzi. The beach was just a stone throw away and it was clean and lively. Food was served promptly and it tasted good. Overall I had a wonderful time at Holiday Villa and would certainly love to stay there again.

it was a nice place to visit, with all the facilities inside the hotel. its a good value for money.better rent a car to enjoy your trip best.

Staff members were very helpful and friendly. I'd like to thank the kitchen and wait staff of the hotel's Italian restaurant who made my Christmas birthday so special! Showerhead was too weak and it took awhile for the hot water to start running.

We had fish n chip, nasi goreng, mee goreng, char kway teow for lunch at Matahari. Food quality for all lunch was below average. 1. Air condition setting can't be adjusted. 2. Yellowish tap water. Maintenance unable to fix it and a replacement should be given immediately.

The room was spacious enough with a beautiful garden view at the beach side. Although efforts were being made by the hotel to prevent insects in the room, little more attention on that front would enhance the comfort.
