On a previous occasion, I had no soap powder for washing ... perhaps if not available this could be an added service to make it available for a few dollars. I choose Explorer's Inn because it is conveniently located close to the City Heart. Rooms are small, but adequate and comfortable. Facilities - jug, radio, TV, air conditioner, lift, Internet access (30 mins preferred over 20 per session, and needs printer access, but I didn't have time to see if one was connected) - all worked. Breakfast in the restaurant was fine. (You cannot conveniently make a cup of tea or instant coffee in an American hotel/motel where only a percolator is provided?) Although the airport bus does not stop at the door, it is close by at the Carlton Crest. If you choose the train to the airport it is a five minute walk to the Transit Centre.
