I had a plesant stay at your hotel, which was my first time. I found the room service exceptionally fast and the staff were very courteous.

Since many Sikhs come to Malacca during 23-25 May every year for the anniversary of the Sikh Temple in Malacca, suggest the hotel can let us know the short cut to the temple. Realised that the taxi takes a longer route.

Most of those travelling to Malacca think that Renaissance Hotel is the closest to the Sikh Temple but just realised that Equatorial is but need to know the shortcut through the Kampong.

Overall, I and my family and friends enjoyed our stay at the Equatorial Hotel and would certainly recommend my friends next year.

I am rather satisfied with my stay at Equatorial. The location was very convenient, about 3-5 mins walk to the A'Famosa and several shopping malls. About hallf an hour walk to the Jonker Street. The hotel is clean, well decorated with festive theme and the service was excellent. I asked for a plastic knife to cut a cake and the house service looked for a proper cake knife for me. I asked for 3 rooms near to each other and the hotel has already arranged for that when I arrived. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is very excellent and my children love the swimming pool so much. the hotel location is excellent, easily excess to most places and is so near to shopping centres. The buffet breakfast is consider expensive, should be charge cheaper for hotel guests.

Since no extension for check out, we shouldn't be waiting until 4.30pm then the room is clean up. The hotel housekeeping line is lousy, no one pick up the phone.

Overall, i will still come back to stay for my next holiday.

The hotel very much met my expectation. Its location is great with many shopping malls walking distance.
Also wakable to the hill (St Paul's Hill) for a good workout any time of the day.
Taxi and trishaws are also easy to catch at the entrance of the hotel.
Every visit I make to Malacca ( at least 6 times a year) for a short weekend getaway I stay at the Equatorial Hotel.
I would surely recomend a stay at this hotel as it is also value for money besides its perfect location.

The hotel really need a total refurbish and major upgrades to their rooms and fittings. Everything looks so worn out and there is damp odor coming from the carpets too. I was actually warned about these conditions but nevertheless still made the reservations. The plants at our balcony are all dried up too possibly due to lack of care and the view (no fault of the hotel) is not too great either.

The location of the hotel is good. The hotel corridar was always damp with the water leakage.

The room I stay was small but comfortable enough for a night. Supprise that the breakfast was not included as it was not clearly indicated during internet booking.
However, I do suggest the hotel should prepare some vegetarian choice as more and more people are trended to a more healthy live-style.
Broadband internet is expensive in this hotel where nearby coffee shops are available free. The management should considered this as I as a visitor would prefered to stay within the hotel facilities for drinks and food at the sametime I can communicate with other family members or bisiness friends.

Not enough good restaurants in the hotel. Shower in the bathroom not clean enough

Staff were courteous and helpful.
Only taxi service should be improved

Very good location, but others like it as well and are energetically bilding all around. Lots of noise, even facing away from the work in progress.
