No problems per se with The Equatorial - particularly if you're going as a family with kids et al, it's a good place to stay with decent sized apartments, functional facilities, decent food at the main restaurant with courteous and attentive staff, etc.

But, for just a few dollars more, Strawberry Farm Resort is SIGNIFICANTLY nicer. I wish I'd known of it before making the Equatorial booking.

House keeping tidies room only at 5pm late afternoon.
Hotel should be renovated after being in use for so many years.
Squash courts not avail, said to be under renovation - same story the last time I stayed.
Mgmt can incorporated more sports and recreation activities with their empty shoplet avail -

that room bed is poor .that bed can move and no balance.

We were impressed during our first stay in this hotel about 2 years ago, that is why we chose this hotel without hesitation this time round. The location is convenient and the room was airy with a commanding view of the valley. The staff were very courteous and helpful. We enjoyed ourselves in the indoor swimming pool too. Overall, I would recommend staying in this hotel.

It will be great if the package can include of breakfast as well. Hope can have more Astro chanel.

The restaurant prices are exorbitant. Holiday city package did not include breakfast or cash voucher which most other guests enjoyed with rates lower that what we paid for similar room. The rooms are well appointed. However the mattresses are bad. They sag in the middle and give a back problem. I changed my room. the other room was a little better.

I will never recommend Equatorial to anyone...terrible maintenance. The room is so poorly kept. The surroundings look so dirty. If you need photos I can send them to you.

The swimming pool is too small and the water is very cool.

The mattress on the extra bed that I had requested was in poor condition. I guess it was as hard as sleeping on the floor with the exception that the floor was flat but this mattress was uneven. Real spoiler.

The hotel staff are helpful and friendly, only the quality of the rooms and eating area a bit poor for a hotel that have high reputation The quality not as expected, the bath tub not so clean and the sofa at the living quite dirty. The same goes to the balcony.

toilet cannot flush. no water stopper for bath tub. cannot contains water.

Porters and bellboys were very helpful and polite. Always willing to help with a smile. Provision of a hair dryer would be useful.

more activity for hotel guest as night events are limited on cameron. grills on the windows as safety precaution espeacially for children.

Need to put chairs and table at the balcony to view the beautiful scenery

so far the hotel very good,and i hope one day i can stay at the same hotel the room is clean and i feel very comfortable
