generally good sentiments of the hotel except (i) that when we had requested for a late check-out we were given this story of all rooms are full and have guests checking in but the minute we agreed to pay for the additional hours the hotel could immediately agree to our extension of 2 hours; generally, my husband and i are very please with the room allocated to us and that our wish for a non-smoking room was considered.

Breakfast should be included in the price. Also, we paid for the buffet breakfast and were not aware at the time that the (overpriced) coffee was additional. Again, this sort of financial sharp practice and stinginess loses customer goodwill disproportionate to the cost of including coffee in the buffet price. Thought it was a little penny-pinching only giving two teabags and charging if guest wanted any more! This sort of stinginess loses a lot more goodwill from the customer than it costs in extra teabags so makes no business sense.

Fine hotel for what we needed i.e. we were not in the hotel much, however we were not happy about the room we were given & requested a move for the second night. We were given a much nicer room but not much in the way of an apology! Staff ok but obviously very inexperienced. The first night we were downgraded, without our consent, & given a very small standard room. Lights didn't work & it wasn't particularly nice. We asked why we were given this room when we had booked a deluxe room (as it certainly wasn't deluxe!) & were then moved to a better deluxe room. First time this has happened to us in Singapore & we've spent possibly 60 nights there in the last few years, albeit, usually in better hotels.

Exceptional friendly staff that were very helpful. Appreciated the early/late checkin/out and also the holding of our luggage as we had late return flights. Will visit again thats for sure.

I was not informed about any deposit nor amount which was blocked from my credit card upfront, which balance will only be usable after 7 days since the date of checking in. The room, especially the satnding lampand the shelve above the coffeemaker was very dusty and was never cleaned during my stay.

Internet usage was unsatisfactory. (Price was high, and setting-up connection was difficult.) Bed was not comfortable enough for this rank of hotel. Also, there were small bugs in the room and dirts under the bed. Water drainig in the bath tab was not good either.

The staff was never helpful when I had a leak in my room from the air conditioner. I needed another room. The hotel did nothing to improve the situation. I had to insist that I get another room because of the water leak. Overall, it was a very bad experience. I will never stay in your hotel again. The door to the room next door did not have a lock. This is not good for security.
