I've been to Duta Village Beach Resort early of this month. And i'm surprise the room are very big and comforatable with the price value. Only one thing could be improve, the buffet breakfast are really worst. I hope you could do something to make it better in future.

I'm truely impressed with the location of the resort and the best part of it is the beach. I love the flatline sea bed the most and for my family, we really enjoy the beach. If I do come back again, it is defintiely the beach that brings me back.

there are so much to improve in the resort and I won't like to comment any further. As I believed that a locally operating resort should have plenty flexibility to think outside the box to create a real Malaysian holiday near this beautiful beach.

Don't spoil the location and do something great to look after the beach by starting with keeping it clean and garbage free.

Not very good hotel.

I was disappointed with the service. i had reserved 2-bedroom suite & 1 standard room. However, i forgot to print the reservation from holidaycity booking. they only received the standard room booking. we arrived but the receptionist said 2 bedroom suite not available. so i had to login to my email, retrieve the confirmation (all from my own laptop) & show the booking confirmation to them. in the end we were given 2 more rooms, (interconnecting rooms- isn't this is called 2-bedroom suite?). upon checking out, they were not sure how to charge me as i had no printout to show them the cost of rooms booked. i had to login to my laptop again but as my laptop was not connected to a printer & unable to connect to their printer- don't know why, i had to save the email in my usb drive, wait for the sales personnel to come to the office, went to her office & get the relevant details printed. we were all ready to check out at 10.30 am but due to all these hassles, eventually left the resort at 11.45-- i will not stay here again. can't they call you guys at holidaycity to check on my booking? what if some other people had arrived from some other foreign cities, if they had forgotten to bring the printout, had no laptop with them, are they supposed to hunt around somewhere to open their email-the receptionist told me i have to use my own computer to retrive my email as they don't have internet on their computer. very bad service-


the bathroom was not clean, the door of the shower could not close properly.

The room was on the ground floor. Had a kind of smell, probably as it wasn't occupied for sometimes.

It is, however, value for money. The front office personnel was very helpful.

The only set back was on breakfast. At about 8.30 am, foods were almost finished. It takes very long time to refilled. Probably it was due to a group of teachers that had seminars there. If it is the case, it means they are not prepared to handle big group. Simply, food management were very poor.

My suggestion for the management is that to have more road signage from Kuantan town to the hotel. None of the signboard leading to the hotel except one is situated at the entrance of the hotel.

The staff were courteous and friendly. There were cats begging for food everytime we had our meal at the in-house restaurant. But the overall ambience was very good. It was peaceful and enjoyable experience with lots of tree shades and fine white sand. There was an 'in-house' squirrel running around all the time which added to the nature experience. The chalet was comfy and nice. We enjoyed ourselves sitting at the balcony enjoying the air and view.

Perhaps understaff but they managed. Room is reasonably maintained

the swimming pool and pool side is quite small. the room is not as nice as i thought, but still ok.

The lightings and heater were not working. I had to tell them about that and I did get a prompt service. But, All these were supposed to be checked before providing the room to the customers. You do not want the customers spend half their day following up with the management.

Considerably cheap for the simple fun u can get there; reasonable amenities, ambience & environment, relaxation, fairly active & clean beach. Centrally located (only if u're driving) at Balok beach between Cherating & Telok Chempedak (near Kuantan town) where u can catch the beautiful (South China Sea east) sunrise in some 10~15mins. Reception staff were friendly & helpful in providing directions & tour info.
