Upon making bkgs with Holiday city was superb. Zek was very very helpful indeed. He went beyond service to assist me by calling to confirm whether I have received the confirmation slip.
Am actually travelling with group of soccer kids n family . their first time visiting PD. Oh my! The staff at the reception were so welcoming with warmth smile and services. Smooth transaction indeed! The rooms were very spacious to accommodate my 4kids . We had no problem with the room amenities though the bathroom lights were not working. The technician came as soon as we called the counter using our phones.
Overall, the kids n families enjoyed the atmosphere and had good sleep . Thank you Holiday city n thank you Zek. We will be back again in JUNE!

We got to port dickson and drove around for an hour because we just couldnt find the hotel!!! All the other hotels are clearly labeled and out in the open, along the road where you can easily spot them. The LOCAL taxi driver didnt know where it was, and had to get out of the cab and ask a few strangers if they knew... everyone pointed us in different directions so we just ended up giving up and going to a different hotel. So I cant say much about the hotel, if it exists, but the location is definetly a mystery...

Very hard to find. No sign board. Customer or room service should be improved, as well as the security.

But the room very big and comfortable. Swimming pool also suitable for children and adult. Can enjoy be at the play ground.

It is this resort call Duta Hacienda Riviera Resort? We will missing because the resort at there write " PALM SPRING ", it is 2 name is same?
This is my 1st time stay lousy resort like that.
The reservation deprt is far with room, and also don't have any phone inside the room to contact reservation dept. We use our phone to call, we unhappy is nobody answer the call.
When we reach there, this resort give us the room have electric problem, we waste around 2 hour just check in the room. Not because the time only, electric problem is serious case, we go there is for holiday, not wish to see unhappy case happen..
After check in, we go down to take our luggage at car, after back, the door can't open, the door lock is damage already, and the room of my friend is can't lock the door when we go out, the door lock will automatic open, it os this is safety for customer?
And have dust at the bed, make my friend allergic of her nose.
Services of this resort is very very very very poor + bad..
when they want change the room to us, they ask us go their reservation dept to exchange the key, not only that, we have request toilet paper, but until we check out, also don't see anybody come, it is this is good services?

Conclusion : this resort waste our money + time, and give us unhappy holiday

1. Hotel doesn't provide local phone number
1st of all, the hotel doesn't provide a local phone number that I can contact (the confirm email from Holiday city doesn't indicate a Thailand no. which I don't find this friendly, if in-case i have queries or info to gather).

2. No signboard or hotel name display
Duta Hacienda Riviera is INSIDE PALM SPRING Resort, it's very misleading and un-clear, there is no signboard and no signage saying that Duta Hacienda Riviera Resort is just right inside PALM SPRING. Me and my friend are lost and spending extra mileage to locate the place. Furthermore, can't call anyone for help, cos it only provide Thailand no. too costly to call oversea. And end up call up holiday city to guide us.

3. Hotel location is bad
Far from beach side (min 8km to beach)

4. Hotel facilities are far from room
Facilities not near to room, need to travel by car which is not convenient.

5. Bad Room facilities
Hot water tab is not working. And the fan is not working properly.

Overall
The hotel is suitable for business trip or romance couple (peaceful & quiet), company training/ team building events. Cos there is an extreme park which suitable for company's events. Need more signage to guide traveler to the hotel. Provide a local helpline just in case customer have problems or enquiry. Room need to be check before hand out key to customer (as some facilities is not working properly).

Staff service can be improve with greeting when customer walk in.

I anticipated being in view of the beach but i guest i was misled by the advert in the internet. The signage on where one has to check in should be bigger or in full view. I had to cut short my stay as the room was dusty. Room shld ve been mopped prior to guest checking in. We had dusty, black feet and had to constantly wash our feet.

the customer service was not welcoming and friendly. the rooms were comforting and beautiful

I think because it is so spread out u should have a shuttle bus service you definately need a phone in the room what if an emergency occured and you cant contact anyone you need a fridge in ahot country so u can have a cold drink. It was too far away to the restaurant and pool you need to have a phone in the room and a fridge

Credit card machine was out of service when i checking in. The bathroom's drain was stuck..

1. The location of the hotel is very far from the beach area. 1.Limited TV programme channel.

Location is a bit to far from PD town. Rooms are clean and neat, but the location is too far from the swimming pools. Morning brekfast can be improved as golfers are given better previliges then others utilising the resort.

Towels provided need to be changed - "dah lusuh".
