Jumeirah Beach - Al Mina - The Al Mina district is a part of the Jumeirah Beach area in Dubai. It is probably best known for being the home of the Dubai International Marine Club which was established in 1986. Al Mina is certainly Dubai's centre for watersports activities. The Marina is the perfect place for owners to moor their multimillion dollar yachts. Since Dubai is a relatively small city, Al Mina is quite close to many of the attractions such as the Deira and Banniyas Souk, the Burjuman Shopping Centre and the Gold Centre. Other interesting places are just minutes away such as the Dubai Diving Village, Dubai Museum and Al Nasr Leisureland Fun Park. Al Mina is also close to Port Rashid, Dubai's busy trading post.
