Staff were very helpful and friendly. Facilities were basic but adequate and clean. Excellent location. Good value for money. I'd stay there again.

Very convenient location. Staff helpful and friendly.

We had 4 full flights of narrow stairs to climb with luggage as there is no lift. There was no screen for the window so you couldn't keep it open to get air.

the location was good, glad we didn't have to spend any time in the room The room and bathrrom were exceptionaly small for four people and the pillows were like sand bags!

My impression is that prices for lodging in London are very high. If you want a relatively clean and comfortable place to crash for the night and don't plan to spend a lot of time hanging around the hotel room, the Dover is good value for the money. (I should add, though, that the first couple of nights we were there, guests seemed to be coming and going at all hours of the night and they didn't take a lot of care to close doors quietly.) The room was a bit run down and the bed was small. We arrived a bit early, while the room was still being cleaned, and it looked as if the previous occupants had had a food fight, but the room had been made presentable by the time we finally settled in.

It was good, but the bathroom was small a little bit.

Very friendly front desk staff. Hotel clean and tidy. Clean and comfortable. A bit on the small side.

Breakfast consisted of cereal with milk and toast with jelly. There was a good coffee machine which offered different kinds of coffee and hot chocolate. No elevator. Narrow stairs made it difficult to carry luggage up to the room.

The staff of the hotel were all pleasant and courteous. Other than cleaning the room, there really wasn't any service. We had to carry our own bags up to the room. The "continental" breakfast was cold cereal and toast, 2 juices and coffee from a institutional type machine. The location was good. The room was clean and efficient, but MUCH smaller than we expected, even for Europe. The bathroom was tiny, and the shower so small that water went all over the floor because 1. the shower curtain was way to short, and 2. the shower stall was TINY

No elevator and very steep stairs to third floor with no help with luggage available from staff.

Dover Hotel is announced as a "standart hotel" but it should be clearly stated in your Holidaycity list as a B&B, because that is what it is. I have been in better bed and breakfast rooms.(Probably are worse...)

We were pleased with Dover hotel and we will come back another time. We were pleased with our room, we had all we needed.

Breakfast was really poor. And the staff was nice, but didn't help much with our questions about the city.I wouldn't come back. The toilet ensuite was so small that taking a shower o brushing your teeth were nightmares!!
