very quiet for working, poor view

Food and drink were very reasonable prices, although I didn't eat or drank there. Furniture doesn't match, so it spoils the look of the room.

It could be great if the reception staff could talk spanish because there are so many people from Spain in London.

i had no 105 facing the street (southampton row!) and a single bed. this is the worst room in the house.

The staff could not have been nicer. The lounge and restaurant were pleasant and the breakfast was great. We loved the neighborhood - lots of restaurant choices and proximity to the British Museum and tube was good. Mrs. Coghlan liked the bed, as she prefers a softer bed. Mr. Coghlan found it too soft after three or four days. We were also surprised at its size - it seemed smaller than we expected. The bathroom was wonderful. We would suggest a small refrigerator next to the writing desk instead of shelves, and a small dresser instead, perhaps under one window. The safe was a great convenience.

Very noisy when waiters started cleaning up in the breakfast room just after 10/10.30. If would be nice if they waited another 30 min. after the end of the breakfast.

Narrow beds

Constant banging of a door on floor below - possibly from a function room. The party itself was not intrusive but the noise from the door, which presumably could have been muted by a closing device was very noticeable until about 02.30 am
