I think the hotel's location is excellent for shopping and is close to the KL Monorail, which links the Golden Triangle to most of the city. The only thing to blame is the amount of money they charge for wifi (RM 30 per day). I think a four-star hotel should provide free wifi to its customers. The staff was helpful as much as they could.

The location of the hotel was ideal for our family with 2 very young children - not too close to the main traffic, and hustle and bustle of a big city, yet close enough to walk to the major shopping centres and eateries. We did not book the hotel room with breakfast given the proximity of eateries. Our children enjoyed the swimming pool on the second floor. The staff were generally courteous and helpful. We had a clean neat room in a non-smoking floor. The bathroom was quite small and the toilet sometimes had problem with flushing. But all in all, we enjoyed our stay here.

Had a pleasant stay,room is well tidied and clean. A helpful receptionist and bellman.

This Hotel is perfect for all kinds of stay in Kuala Lumpur. I would definitely recommend all my friends / relatives to go for this HOTEL. this hotel is in a great position.everything we wanted was within walking/monorail distance.the staff are very efficient and friendly.the hotel presents well and some rooms have excellent views,say above level 10.visiting the towers,chinatown,times square is simple.

Unfortunately we only stayed at the Dorsett Regency for 1 night at the end of our holiday. The hotel room was lovely and spacious and comfortably accomodated our family of 4. The hotel staff were friendly and check-in and check-out were quick and hassel free. The breakfast was not included in the room rate, however we were able to pay for it at a special price. The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic and had the largest choice I had ever seen!!! Last time in KL we stayed at the Federal Hotel, however we would not waste our money and stay there again. We would definately stay at the Dorsett Regency!!!

this is a really 4 stars hotel, i have been stay in many 4 stars hotel in central of Kuala Lumpur around Bukit Bintang, but this is the best hotel of the 4 stars, it worth, and i idenfinitely come back.

The staff were very courteous and extremely helpful. It was in a safe location and accessible to the main sights of Kuala Lumpur.

Our stay at the Dorsett Regency was enjoyable, but because we couldn't have 2 triple bed rooms adjoining we did get upgraded to 1 room with a king size bed and 1 room with 2 double beds with adjoining rooms, it was just the 2 kids has to end up sharing a double bed which wasn't without arguement. Rooms were nice and clean. Staff were very helpful.

Deluxe room was much larger than expected and easily accommodated the extra bed we had requested for an additional adult family member. In addition there were sliding doors to allow privacy when necessary. Bathroom was equally large and offered every facility, including an adjustable magnifying mirror!

Staff members were responsive at all times, and always pleasant. The pool was an asset well used by our family group, and the hotel is in a very convenient location, within easy walking distance of Bukit Bintang. Breakfasts [the only meal we had at the hotel] were consistently good with a selection of western & Asian food available.

Our stay in this hotel was great. We got a nice room on 27th floor with twin towers view (even have to view from the side way of the window, but we still could sit comfortly on the sofa to enjoy viewing it). The room is clean, the cleaner was doing a good job. Every night I have had nice sleep here, as the sound proof of the room is good. The staff are courteous and helpful too.Overall I would said I like the services and would come back again. I would like to say thank you to all the staff who have served us very nicely.

First time stay at Dorsett and it was a good stay.

Nice big room with a very comfortable bed, I suffer from back issues so it was good to find a Hotel that actually has a bed with support rather than just a HARD bed.

Internet access in the room (a must for me).
Very handy to Bukit Bintang which is where all the good shopping and nightlife is, walking distance to everything or catch a train around the corner.

Staff were generally happy, helpful and smily, although the reception staff could lighten up and smile more.

Generally a nice stay and I would definately stay again.

in my recent holiday in malaysia i stayed in several hotels and the dorsett was the best by far. some of the others were also more expensive so the dorsett is great value for money. the rooms were great, very clean and the staff could not be more helpful. friendly, efficient and prompt service. the only tiny faults i could find was the high cost of laundry and the limited range of tv channels (how about aminal planet or national geographic etc would be a welcome addition). if these are the only things i could find wrong then obviously things were pretty darn good. i will definately stay at the dorsett next time i come to KL.

The hotel is value for money. The bedroom has 2 queen size beds which can accomodate our family comprising 2 adults and 2 kids comfortably without the need to pay for extra bed.

The location is within walking distance to all the major shopping centres in KL which is great for a shopping trip.

The safe in the room was locked when we wanted to use it. We called the hotel reception and they sent someone to fix it within 20 minutes.

I was unable to get internet access in the room. I was told the ID and password but was unable to log on. At this age and trend such inconvenience is most regretable.

we felt that the buffet evening meal was not very suitable at all for westerners and also that it was a little over priced

We had a very happy stay and especially enjoyed the in house band and bar atmosphere. The staff were very helpful and we would definately come back to your hotel if we were to come to KL again. no hand towel in bathroom

Disappointed that requested separate beds for my children and was told 1 dble is enough.

maybe should upgrade the hotel carpark- seems quite small space - not suitable for big vehicle eg. 7seater cars to park, nevertheless quite convenient. very convenient, easy access for wheelchair bound.
