If u thinking of a budget hotel this could be the one.Its quiet near to the city and a shopping paradise is just footsteps away.The staff at the hotel were all wonderful & helpful. Aniway i just can't stand the horrible smell at the passage way going to my room,everything in the room is satisfactory except there is stained on my bedsheet.If you on a budget then this is the hotel for u....

Staff were courteous and helpful. We arrived at 3 am and chose the hotel because we needed 24 hour reception and late checkout due to a transit stopover in KL. Location was very convenient.\: close to transport and sight-seeing city bus. It suited our needs very well.

overall, it's not worth 2 stay...it's damn noisy all the time.n it's smelly in the room.the TV is too small n was putting very high on the rack.the TV is juz for exhibition but not 4 watching coz there was no any channel which is available...the door cant lock too.and the flush in toilet was out of service too..however, the staff service was quite good.

This place is good value for the money.If you like to have food its the place.it felt like living in china.

My wife and I found this hotel on the Internet , mainly because it is in china town, this hotel is so convient to us , we walk straight out into the street which is a shoppers delight , every thing is here markets all day and all night, food stalls and resturants just every where and all with in walking distance to the hotel . Fantastic location and staff so friendly

good location if its chinatown you want to stay in, otherwise taxi is your only option to go anywhere else around city. Breakfast is very basic. just had it the once. Hotel is clean,room was clean and everything in good order basic but fine for price. Staff were very helpful at reception and would recommend it as place to stay.

i enjoyed my stay at D'oriential. It is good for thoses that have to watch their spending and want nudget accomodation.

plus i think the bet thing about it is the fact that it is quiet centrally located. and shopping in chinatown is really good. u jsut walk out n in to the the numerous shooping carts.

def recommended if u want to save money on accomodation.

I traveled with friends, we looked for a budget hotel in a good location!! I think this hotel is value for money with this room rate, it's perfect for us. The room was clean though a bit small but it's ok for us. I recommend this hotel for budget travellers. Breakfast was good compared with the room rate we paid. If I would go back to KL, I will stay there again.

Hotel staff is very friendly. Public transport within walking distance. Breakfast is excellent. Internet available at reception (5RM/hour). The only suggestion for improvement would be regarding room cleaning service: cleaning hours should be sheduled preferably in the morning time in order to avoid guests late afternoon inconvenience. I highly recommend this hotel to potential visitors.

D'Oriental Inn has a fantastic location in the heart of China Town. Walk out your hotel door and straight into the night markets. China town is very central to the other tourist destinations in the city, close to the train station and easy to get cabs out the front.
Staff were really helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable and a great price.

At last, it has small restaurent, but breakfast provided is not ready up to standard, very basic.

For the price I thought it was very good value for money. The only complaint I have is that the blanket was a bit smelly. KL being a hot & steamy city perhaps I would suggest using towel blankets in all the rooms. This way the blankets can be washed regularly.

Ideal location, right at the heart of Chinatown, though finding the hotel during evening at first time can be a challenge due to the busy markets at the front...staff is friendly, room is just nice, TV got only 3-4 channels...but the FREE wifi in room adds up to it...hotel is quite new.

I stayed one night of the three nights I had booked as my husband was suddenly taken ill and we had to cut short our trip. The staff were very concerned and arranged for us to have late checkout at 3 pm while I went to purchase our return tickets. They also cancelled our 2 nights booking with no extra charge. Anyway my compliments and thanks especially to Nori of the reservation dept.
This is a good hotel with well-trained staff.

I have booked the hotel with minimum expectations, but after i visited the hotle i find that the hotel is clean and the staff is helpful. The location of hotel is near to the buststand and local railway station. The breakfast in this hotel is very good. Though i have stayed there for one night i can can say that this hotel is worth for the money.

A reasonably priced hotel in a prime location.

The hotel opened around 3 mths ago (June08) and they were constructing a restaurant when we were there.

The bedroom was compact ( I think most hotels are in KL)- but the bathroom was generous. The room wass immaculate.

The TV didn't have satellite and we missed a sports channel. The wifi was a good speed.

The staff were so friendly and helpful we'd recomend this hotel fully
