Overview
Number 2 Chesham Street, a former family residence built by Thomas Cubitt in 1882, is a prestigious Victorian corner house listed by Her Majesty's Government as a building of architectural distinction. On entering, a glass-domed stairwell housing a magnificent staircase rises gracefully to serve well appointed bedrooms, all furnished with the comfort and convenience sought by today's discerning traveller.
The Diplomat Hotel London, a true gem located in one of the finest and safest residential areas in London had completed a refurbishment in 2002. Retaining its wonderful, classic Victorian style making it a more selective yet still an affordable place to stay, offering very competitive and reasonable rates.
With only twenty six bedrooms, our staff will make every effort to offer you a friendly service and the personal attention that you may require. Our French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish personnel will be more than happy to assist you with theatre reservations, dinner reservations, guided tours and so on. Full English and continental buffet style breakfast, morning and afternoon tea, as well as a snack menu are available in the Coffee Lounge. During the Summer months our patio area is an inviting place to have breakfast.
