Very helpful staff at the reception. Although the hotel is a short walk from the Red Light District in Sydney (Kings Cross), however, as long as you are on Macleay Street, it is a very good location with all sorts of restaurants around and availability of public transport from the hotel to Circular Quay / Market / Central Business District is very good. Room # 306 was a neatly designed room for a family of three with a wonderful bay view. The bathroom geyser used to make a noise and that needs to be rectified.

We booked 2 rooms because we're travelling with 3 small kids. We expect to have an adjacent room so it's easy for us and for the kids to move back in our bed in the middle of the night. But our room is not connected,so we have to let our 5 and 4 years old stay in the other room while our baby stayed with us! When we check for the other room which is adjacent to our room the staff told us it will be free after 2 days. But when we checked after 2 days we we're told it was a mistake! I hope next time, families who have small children will be given some attention when booking the room to avoid some misunderstanding!

Front glass door is armed with security system which makes hotel guests feel secured. Besides front ceiling light not functioning, I like the room very much. Comfortable with proper utensils provided at the small kitchen.

I stayed nine nights with a day between - 1st nights in a room with a kitchenette and table to eat from; second night, none of these facilities which was a pity.

There are step at the main door and to the lifts from the reception, so you have to lift you bags all the time.Bad smell in the lifts, not sure where it was from. Bath rooms were fairly clean and the staff were ok but they do not smile much except one guy did not check his name but he checked me out. The first room had bad bugs that we still have scars all over. We were moved to a smoking room for the around 0230am. The following morning I request a non smoking room, then put to a room where there was a next door person who lives there permanantly and smokes non stop. So I requested another room. Finally we got another one but already fed up with everything.
