The villa was quite clean, spacious and a stone's throw away from the beach. From the previous reviews on this site i thought that the breakfast would be aweful but I would say that the breakfast served is not bad at all. The only negative point that we encountered was - we requested for late check out at 3pm, but the front desk staff was very strict about checking out at 2pm eventhough the hotel had only a few guests. We had a good, relaxing and slow paced holiday. Very convenient if you are driving. Went up to the Ostrich farm and Sungei Riggit (nice town, friendly people, good seafood) - about 30 mins drive from the hotel. Would recommend this hotel for a relaxing weekend break, away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

There is no variety of food such as vegetarian food. Hotel ambience is ok but the rooms are quite poorly maintained - aircon leaking, showers leaking. Overall, it is a good hotel if these things are looked into.

Most of the areas (room, corridor, facilities) are old and not well maintained. peeling wooden structure and paint everrywhere.

During booking (internet) never mentioned about check in time (3.00 pm) but asked for preferred check in time??? Need more variety for breakfast! Overall the hotel is good for a leisurely stay as the place is quiet and peaceful.

Though the hotel is a little run down, it is still well recommended for those who looks for a place to unwind and a quiet place to enjoy the sea breeze. Staff are courteous and when I was there, there was a 20% discount on food and beverage. We enjoyed our stay there.

Unfortunately it is quite run down. The room and bedsheets do not have a clean 'feel' to them. The food is edible but nothing beyond that. A little more choice could be given for breakfast. Even if it is too much to expect complete modernisation of the prmises, you could consider 'cordoning' off a corner for higher end chalets with a jacuzzi and modern, clean luxurious rooms. That would make the place well worth more visits.
