The room had dirty carpets, sink had hair in the bowl and on the counter. The TV channel changer was difficult to use - likely batteries old and or remote worn out. Breakfast service very slow when we trying to pay. The idea of a buffet is ease and speed. Not so much.

It was pretty much what we had expected and wanted, but it bothers me when hotel (chains in particular) don't re-invest profits in the small things like painting and wallpaper fixes etc. Particularly around the elevators as an example the apperance was quite shabby. When the price tag is around the $150 mark, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect more attention to detail. At the end of the day it didn't diminish our stay, but equally it didn't inspire us to stay there again in the future.
