dont forget the small things Reviewer: Jens Nielsen Date of review: 30 October 2007 Recommends this hotel: Neutral Recommended for: Leisure Room Hotel Facilities 3 Bed 5 Ambience 2 Cleanliness 4 Service 4 Room Size 3 Location 5 Amenities 4 Value for Money 2 It was pretty much what we had expected and wanted, but it bothers me when hotel (chains in particular) don't re-invest profits in the small things like painting and wallpaper fixes etc. Particularly around the elevators as an example the apperance was quite shabby. When the price tag is around the $150 mark, I think it wouldn't be unreasonable to expect more attention to detail. At the end of the day it didn't diminish our stay, but equally it didn't inspire us to stay there again in the future.
