My husband and I stayed here for the weekend of Caribana. It was a nice hotel, but a little old when it come to the hotel rooms and the hallways. The staff at the front desk was very nice, but we had asked for a king bedroom and we didn't recieve it, they said they were booked solid but I had reserved this room about 2 months in advance, we wanted a couch to relax on but did not get it. We tried to check-in early but there were no available rooms at the time so we pre-booked in at that time I asked if we could have a late check-out and they said ask when we come back. When we came back they told me to ask in the morning. I finally got a late check-out of 1pm instead of 12pm at 12pm. I wanted to go out in the morning and not have to worry about the 12pm check-out, but I had to stay in the room and call to find out if we could leave for 1pm. The restarant in the hotel was a nicely decorated and clean, but the quanity of food is not great for the amount of money, and at alomst 3.00$ per cup of coffee was not worth it(coffee not included in the breakfast). The room was very clean and myself being a room attendant you can be sure that I thouroughly inspected it. We did ask for some extra blankets at night time and did not recieve them, and in the morning we needed a plunger for the tolilet and had to call about 3 times for maintience to come and waited at least and hour. All in all it was an alright stay. I wouldn't really reccomend it if you want a romantic getaway, but if you just want a place to sleep, it is good.
