A couple of weeks before the birth of our first child, my husband and I wanted to spend a romantic night in a hotel which was close enough to home in case I suddenly went into labour. This is why we chose Cyberview Lodge (we live in KL).
Unfortunately it was raining when we checked in and so all afternoon we had to stay indoors. Our room was called Poolside deluxe but the only view we had was of the air conditioners at the back of the Italian restaurant. (Not worth the price in my opinion.)
Then we thought we might soak in the jacuzzi but discovered the spa facilities are separate for men and women -what fun is sitting alone in a jacuzzi?
We went for a drink at one of the bar/restaurants and were impressed with the service (one of the waiters trekked all over the resort trying to find a ripe peach for my drink). Dinner was also quite delicious but I found the staff kept bothering us, probably because it was slow and they had nothing else to do. They kept trying to take the plates before we had even finished chewing the last mouthful! Very annoying.
Breakfast was very good and because it was sunny we finally got to swim in the pool before checking out.

The hotel has beautiful landscaping and the swimming pool is very unlike others; comes with a little waterfall. Food was good as well.. we ate at the Italian restaurant and also ordered room service. We stayed in the Garden Chalet (which is their standard room). It had an over-sized king sized bed, comfortable mattress and the room was very spacious, clean and fresh. It had free internet with PC as well. Also a huge airy balcony which provides a breathtaking view.

Internet connection was only working half the time we were there. No extra electric outlets for notebook ect. Other than that a very nice place and good value for the money

I was checked in to a "Out Of Order" room with air-conditioning in repair and the ladder was still in the room. Problem resolved in 20 minutes.

It was very quiet - the restaurant especially but have eaten here on many occassions and the food is excellent. Why so quiet in the evening? I want a bed like this!

Perfect get-away for the city dwellers. If you want to rest and relax, spoil yourself in the spa or workout in a gym, and then indulge in excellent meals - this is a great place for a few days. First Class in all respects. Huge airy balcony provides additional relaxing area.
