We had a great stay at the Hotel and as we had not been there before it was a gamble as to what position and standard we would find , we were very pleased with our welcome and the standard of our room and the evening meeal was fantastic, I especially enjoyed the oriental style soup which I had as a starter,it was one of the best soups I have ever had,I would like to say 'thank you' to the chef !

Hotel was very conveniently located and service very good. Very clean room and beds comfortable though rooms not very large and wrong bed configaration as to what was asked for. Enjoyed views and a nice bath. Breakfast coud have been a touch better ( soggy toast and very bitter yoghurt), but on the whole enjoyed our stay and felt well looked after. Would stay here again.

We loved the location of this hotel. Extremely useful for access to all of Queenstown's activitiies, including the road to Glenorchy.

Hotel facilities were excellent. We did not use the restaurant, although it did look very good, with an attractive setting. We also did not partake of the breakfasts as we were up early to do activities.

The rooms are typical hotel type rooms but were comfortable and well appointed.

Overall we enjoyed our Queenstown experience very much, and the choice of Crowne Plaza was a definite bonus.

For the money, the hotel was well worth the deal. The facility was wonderful, comfortable, quiet but with a great location, and service was impecable.

Need bathrobes

Impressed with the layout of rooms on our level - opening out onto an elevated garden.

Superb hotel, wonderfully positioned and well-designed.

The hotel still looks and sounds like a construction site, which we should have been warned about. Rates should reflect the fact that guests have to put up with this. No facilities eg cafe, gym etc and some parts of the hotel are poorly finished or still very old (eg the lifts). Service was friendly but slow and inefficient. We were not told we had breakfast included in our room rate until we checked out. Everything just seemed too much trouble. Our room (and floor) was meant to be non-smoking but it stank of smoke. No information was provided in the room about the hotel and its facilities/ services or about Queenstown. No balcony furniture provided. No spare toilet rolls in the bathroom, and soap not provided every day. Sheets only changed once in the 6 days we were there.

Was surprised that GST was not included in the advertised price, therefore ended up being a little more expensive than I was expecting A little small on floor space to place bags. But having big bed each was worth giving up the space for.

The hotel was being upgraded but for our purposes it was fine

Some drilling and renovations were going on during our stay, and we were not aware of any renovations when we made our booking (and paid the non-refundable full price). We were not substantially affected because we spent the whole day on the slopes, but early morning drilling was somewhat disruptive. There were some small metal pins lying on the floor, which I thankfully spotted before my husband or I stepped on them.

Your customer service was excellant all staff where friendly and approachable

I would have liked access to a gym. Comfortable room. Shame about the lack of lake view. Corridors to rooms are rather tight and warren-like.
