The golf course is world class, and mid week is not crowded. The location is convenient in the middle of the wineries and the service is friendly. It is over all good value for money. I would recommend to other travellers.

My main cristicism is the hotel has no "soul". The lanscaping, the structure and the ambiance of the place is sadly lacking. Having said that, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Staff were very competent, and internet access was free in the business centre, a pleasant change from others we stayed in.Overall, I can say that if i was back in the region, I would definately stay there again. Very good value for money.

Last year we stayed at Tallawanta Lodge and found the Crowne Plaza to be on a par with Tallawanta. As far as staff courtesy the Crowne staff were excellent. I must congratulate the Hotel on the attitude of the staff. Nothing was a trouble and they made us feel very comfortable. This was the main comment from myself and the five other ladies. Reception, restaurant and cleaning staff all were pleasant and amenable. We would definitely stay at this Hotel again.

All staff are friendly and helpful. I'm not sure if it's a Hunter Valley thing, but everyone up here is cheerful!! Thanks for such a relaxing stay!!
