My family just love this hotel because of the stategic location which is quite near to gurney drive . This hotel is our very first choice whenever we come to Penang because it's value for money. My kids just love their swimming pool and the view from the pool is just great overlooking to a beautiful villa by the sea. The beach is also very safe without all those jetskies and dangerous watersports. Its very safe for small children to play in the sand because the big waves are stopped by a row of reefs. The staffs are also very polite and helpful. The interior of the rooms maybe a bit old and need some upgrade but overall of the hotel is good for those who don't expects a high standard for their accommodation. I would definately recomend it for those who wants a peaceful and relax holiday... Thank you Copthrone Orchid

This is definitely a very good hotel that's worth the money(Not expensive).

The only good thing I found was , there are some good hawker food opposite the road . The food are reasonably good and cheap, and the ESSO petrol station is nearby , this is the only two petraol station in Batu Felingi area . But no hurt to try that Sea food reastaurant at " End of the world " location, the new end of the world is by the round about , but the better sea food restaurant is beside the Police station by the sea side . Money for value !

We stayed out of season so the hotel was quiet and short of staff in the restaurant area, although seemed to be training young people. Food was a long time coming but was freshly prepared. The view was amazing and the beach almost private, but with a steep slope into the sea, so not suitable for children under 6/7 years

This is my 3rd time staying in Copthorne Orchid Penang. You know why I select this hotel because of location is excellent and convenince to us. But I still got some feed-back to your are : 1. Inside the room we advise them need to add some lighting abit dark. 2. Talk about facilities I thing they are so rear. 3. T.V. programming so little. But overall still o.k. Hope we able to enjoy our vacation nex trip.

My wife and I have enjoyed the courtesy of the staff
also the nice view of the ocean is tremendous. We have a wonderful experience all in all

I quite satisfy with the hotel room, studio room is average size, but it is comfortable.

The Hotel location was near to the city, it was convenience to tourist somehow.

Overall, I would recommend to stay at this hotel.

The Copthorne Orchid Hotel Penang offers moderately superior accommodation at a reasonable price.

The stand-out feature was the high-level of service we received during our stay. Staff were on hand 24hrs to assist us with items ranging from extra bedding, travel power adapters, to antiseptic cream! Not to mention the handy taxi service in the reception area, which supplied an invaluable service.

We ate at the restaurant on a number of occasions, and each time we were satisfied with the quality of the meal and service.

The Copthorne Orchid Hotel Penang is suitable for all types of travelers. We would not hesitate to stay with them again, the next time we are in Penang.

This is my 2nd time stayed in this hotel, still find that the staff are very friendly. Especially the pool staffs, they are so helpful in many ways. The only problem is the shuttle bus services which they only provide once a day to town. Would be much better if extra services are provided for afternoon. I have to pay rm14 for a short trip to gurney plaza.

The hotel is old but clean. Staffs are friendly and ever at your service. Should Copthorne group decide to revamp Copthorne Orchid Penang, the hotel would be a hit as its location is perfect---right in between Batu Ferringhi and the city center. They even have their own beach front and cove as well.

One of the cheapest hotel you can get in Tanjung Bungah and yet, the price you paid, is definately worth more thn that!

We had a very pleasant and holiday in Penang at the Copthorne Orchid Hotel.
Staff were extremely helpful, particularly those at the concierge desk. The hotel is also quite well-located along the public transport route.

Hotel location are quite convenient, and easy to find. The staff are all quite helpful, if any problems arise they attend to your needs quite prompt.

Hotel room is spacious and clean, furthermore the hotel have their own beach, make it much more nicer and fun

I will definitely recommended it to my friends and families. Giving a chance I might come back and stay in the hotel.

Had to change rooms as we had requested one double one twin but given two doubles ( needed twin for teenage children) despite two e mails to confirm but dealt with quickly and given rooms in area by pool. Parents also had to move because lock not working on door but also moved next to us by pool area. Reasonable resteraunt but same menu each night ....buffet meal not great and food never hot! Hired car to move around Penang and this would be a must as hotel away from main areas but meant peaceful aswell but beware of mad moped drivers ,need to keep your nerve. Hotel a little worn at edges could do with upgrade but still good.
