This was my first stay at this Hotel, and I was impressed with the service of their entire staff! From the upgrades we received at check-in to the excellent service and fine food at their restaurant, we were very satisfied with our brief stay and would certainly stay here again the next time we visit Christchurch.

We had a very comfortable stay and found the staff extremely courteous and helpful. Everything about our stay was positive although I had asked for a room with no stairs as my husband was on crutches. We used the lift and had plenty of help from the porters which was great but we had been put on the 9th floor and I did wonder about the wisdom of that decision had we had to have an emergency evacuation and not been able to use the lift. We ate in the restaurant and thought that the food was fairly average. I think you should certainly include some vegetables in the main course for the price we paid. I would certainly stay in the hotel again but would probably not eat in the restaurant again.

Very helpful and polite service in the hotel. Nice new and comfortable room. On the small side but neat and clean.

I felt that the internet charge for the room was a bit high. The phone call charges for a call to a NZ mobile number was also exorbitant.

The only complaint i has is that room service walked in more than once before check out time, they did this without knocking i thought it was rude.
