We enjoyed our stay at the Coogee Sands Hotel and Apartments. The staff was very friendly and efficient. The only negative thing was the poor cleaning job of the bathroom prior to our arrival.... but was good during our stay. The hotel is in an excellent location right next to the beach and within easy walking distance of Coogee Beach Road where the shops and restaurants are located. The bus stop is nearby also. It is a relatively short drive (about 12 kms) to the Sydney airport. We would recommend this hotel to others and would definitely stay again if we ever return to the Sydney area.

Great location close to the beach. No view from window (other than the roof of the hotel next door).

Room size was fine however bathroom was very small.

Bit of noise transferred from corridor and adjoining hotel (sunday night band).

However all things considered I would stay there again.

When we walked into the room we had booked I was thrilled with the view of the sea it was exactly what we wanted. It's location was perfect for an evening out and for the very nice walk beside the beach with very good views also. The reception staff were very helpful to us when we needed to hire a car as we were quite jetlagged at the time.

Great location, handy for beach plus bus into city/ Bondi (coastal walk) Loved this location, minutes from beach, friendly staff. Plenty amenities nearby.

Just when checking in they didn't tell us there was a top deck with BBQ & chairs didn't find it until last night! The shower was terrible could not get the mix of hot & cold right it either burnt or too cold.

Standard room with no faults. Nice bay window area and could open windows for natural ventilation (or use the a/c).

Very little facilities outside of room but with this location next to the beach not a big problem. No cooking facilities other than microwave.

A good 'basic' hotel. Staff were very helpful and pleasant. Room serviced daily to a high standard. Furnishings were older but well maintained.

The only item I wish to raise was the fact my room had not been serviced even though the sign requesting such had been left on my door for a number of hours. Ultimately I had to find the housekeeping staff and request towels which I retrieved from the trolley.

We thought that when we rented an apartment we would be provided with a toaster for bread. Other than that - very good
