Recommendation: By Mr.Richard Burrell Canada It's a room, heated, air conditioned, it's clean and provides everything needed to stay within walking distance of downtown halifax overnight. The room felt a bit small after staying in 303 but it's a nice hotel, employee's and guests are friendly. It's ... a nice place, variety store across the street, and great pizza and fish fast food places nearby. . . Withing 200 ft. Of the door. I'll be staying there again soon. My wife wanted to try the whirlpool bath we had last time in 303 but didn't want to squeeze into the small shower in 301 with me. Damn! the commons inn is a nice place, fairly quiet, there's a fire department just down the street, and the people who work there seem dedicated. Breakfast was adequate and comfortable, more like a buffet. Cereal, juice, fruit, toast, jams, and a comfortable feeling. Two fairly large decks on the roof provide areas for outdoor sightseeing and smoking.
i like it, it works for me. It's not a cater to needs place, it's a room close to downtown, and is serviced well.
in future it will hopefully provide rooms for me when i want to visit halifax again.
