Purpose of my visit was to meet with friends and share a meal. Room was clean and comfortable (nice white lace curtains made me feel at home not a hotel) Cleanliness high priority for me and expectations were met in this regard. Restaurant was nice - good menu choices and average prices. Comfortable bar area off dining room was pleasant and not loud - good for after meal conversation - very pleasant. Booking was uncomplicated and registration simple.

We stayed at the Comfort Inn in Bunbury for one night in summer 2009- and the weather was hot. We were disappointed to learn that the hotel swimming pool had recently been filled in, and that the website had still advertised it as having a functional swimming pool. However, when we mentioned this to the staff, the manager was called and provided very good customer service. He apologised, contaced the national head office to have the website details changed, and offered us a substantail discount on our already reasonably priced double room. And all this without us making a big fuss! The aircon inthe rrom was very good. All in all, a very pleasant stay. Although our room was close to the highway the courtyard brick wall made it very private and quiet. I suggest though that someone weeds the courtyard, as weeds were coming up through the bricks. A low maintenance potplant in the courtyard would soften the outdoor area too. The cooked breakfast was excellent.
