My room was on the 4th floor (top of the building) which gave me a wonderful view of Lake Wakatipu surrounded by steep mountains. The hotel restaurant is not available for lunch so that you need to go to the downtown area for something to eat. Going to the downtown is an easy 10-minute walk but coming back to the hotel is really exhaustive because of uphill climb from the town to the hotel. If my room were equipped with a microwave oven or stove my stay would have been much more comfortable.

The staff were very courteous and went out of there way
to make sure we were given the option of what we wanted given the option.Very pleasant!!

Hotel in a good location, close and walking distance to
the centre of Queenstown.

Spa pool not up to scatch eg. cleanliness. but at least it was warm!
Drying room didnt quite get gear dry properly but at
least they had one.

The showers had no pressure of water and could be improved.

Good idea for a vendor machine for in Hotel,maybe look
at the range of products eg. some snacks as well as drinks!

Bed making in the morning was just pulling the covers
up which is what I do at home but dont expect this when I go away.

Overall we did enjoy ourselves in our time there and I hope my comments have been contructive!

First time to NZ and had a great time! A great budget motel! All of the convenience (car parking, close to town and facilities, excellent staff service) with none of the added expense. Perfect for our ski trip - definitely recommend to other travellers.

make sure to let reception know if you want to use the restaurant as it doesn't open in the off season if no customers

2 mattresses made up to 1 king size bed. I fell into the middle.

The Manager was very helpful and pleasant and was only too happy to assist us with any questions, bookings etc. My wife and I kept rolling "down" to centre of bed as if there was not enough standard support under us.
