After a belated flight which lead to a 1 AM check-in, we were able to quickly make it to our room to find very cosy quarters and a thankfully comfy bed. The bathroom was very clean and practical and the large window was great for letting air into the room. The location was very convenient, close to resturants and entertainment aswell as transport, ie. public and tour bus stops, rail network. The reception staff were friendly and hospitible as well as helpful when asked for directions, dining recomendations etc. The only negative we found were the "thin walls" and the rumble of the under ground rail. This was a slight inconvenience in the mornings on an otherwise pleasant and comfortable stay.

Some of the staff were not particularly interested in giving any informative answers to my questions. The hotel itself is well positioned for tourists. But I feel the staff need to be prepared to give tourist information or at least show some interest in what the guests are saying. The food was OK, the idea of service in the room is great. However, because I forgot to give a time, no-one thought to ring me and ask, it was just left - even though I had asked for an early wake up call. So there is no communication between kitchen and reception staff. However, despite the above I will return as it is value for money and very good position for the TGV. It is just frustrating, when you do not speak French and some of the staff are either very dozy or just not interested in making themselves understood or wanting to understand the guests requests.

As I visit Paris mainly because of business , this hotel met my expectation.

I was attracted by hotel location as it is close to Meridien Hotel ( congress meeting).

I was pleasantly surprised by the mini kitchen in the room. This would be ideal for leisure visitors and business stays alike. The room was clean, staff very helpful and location was good starting point for our trips around town. I would recommend this hotel to others travelling to the city.
