Overall service was ok but I was unhappy when I had to dine at the chinese restaurant for my complimentary breakfast on 28 apr 2010. While other muslims guests were having their breakfast at the coffeehouse. The staff should be more sensitive on this issue as both she and me are muslims. I have told her that I want to eat at the coffeehouse but she ignored my request. There was only 2 muslims in that chinese restaurant and I wonder if it was a Halal certified restaurant. Another issue to highlight is the hotel's lobby area. There should be more sofas, chairs and bigger lobby area as other hotels. As I could recall, there's only 2 sets of 2-seater teak chairs to accommodate your guests. Pls upgrade and train your staff to be more sensitive especially when it comes to dealing with muslims requests.

My family enjoyed the dinner very much. It was value for money. The turkey was very nice. The band, friendly staff, good food and the party novelties were just right for a comfortable evening. The only thing missing is the active participation of all the dinners. It lack the party atmosphere. Most were there to eat and leave, not to party. Perhaps the santa claus, band and staff could initiate some activities to get the diners into party gear.

We had a great stay. Everything we needed was there. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was nice too. Great location especially if you like shopping. Close to restaurants, Cafes and easy to get around. Taxi service is cheap and great to use if you want to go anywhere.

i and my 3 friends had a wonderful stay at bayview hotel the front office housekeeping and coffeehouse staff were warm and welcoming

Everything about the Hotel is good including the location. Food was good, breakfast was nice, and we had agood time. However, I had a very unpleasant experience, that is, no wake up call was made to me inspite of my request, and I could have missed my flight , if my wife had not woken up in time. We had to rush to the Airport. The excuse given to us was that the system may have been faulty. Though no excuses could suffice my inconvenience.However, I did not wish to create a scene at the Reception Desk to show my displeasure to the bystanders.

My first visit to malaysia and I really had a good time in Bayview hotel. Hotel location was great with good service and helpful staff. I would recomend this hotel to my friends.

The buffet breakfast could have done better in terms of variety and quantity. The food went cold too fast.

The hotel was very clean and the staff were nice.
The hotel lounge with the live 3 piece band at night was very good and the staff were friendly.

The swimming pool was too shallow - but I suppose it caters for children. But it would have been nice to have a deeper end for adults to be able to enjoy the coolness on the humid days and to relax.

The hotel is close to the jetty but far away from any night life - but the band was just as good as any on the beach, if not better.

My family & I had a good time in Langkawi and our stay at Bayview was really pleasant. Hotel staffs were very friendly and courteous. I love the location of the hotel as it's just walking distance to the Duty Free Shops..

As it was Ramadan and fasting period, the hotel was a bit quiet. The hotel facilities were under renovation..so we missed the chance to check out the swimming pool and gym!

Nevertheless, i'm looking forward to my next trip to Langkawi and staying at Bayview!

1.Good location - very convenient to shopping area. 2. Staff not very courteous and helpful - lack of PR and customer service. Need a lot of improvement in this area. 3. Should provide wireless internet service in all rooms. 4. Good buffet breakfast spread. 5. Should impove lobby area, lack of sofas or seats for waiting.

Location is right in town & food & shopping all around. Tv was small & low quality. Only one can of beer (practically not sufficient ) reserved in the freeze.

There were not sufficient choices in the breakfast menu to suit Western taste. terrible coffee!

Hotel was good, but surrounding areas although not dirty were very smelly and walking around was not pleasant at all. Had requested a King size bed, but was provided with 2 single beds instead.

The pillows provided were not much comfort. They should provide better quality pillows.
