We were fortunate to be upgraded to a Pinnacle room due to the large numbers staying at the hotel in sporting groups. The room was very clean and the entire hotel was well maintained but, despite being a better room, we still found it rather small in comparison to other hotels in which we've stayed. Breakfast (included) was plentiful, tasty and well presented and the staff coped well with the busy times they experienced with the sporting groups. My only real problem with the hotel was the swimming pool. Unfortunately, it is under cover. Consequently, it was very hot and steamy and not conducive to lolling about reading next to, or even swimming in. If that is of no interest to fellow travellers then I would recommend this hotel for a stay in the heart of Penang. Vicki Western Australia

Card did not work at first. Subsequently, card worked intermittently. This is a ridiculous system and the instructions are only in English. Bathroom lighting poor.

I did enquire the reservation but they mentioned only coorner one is big but not available! I booked quite a while they should know!
