The hotel rooms are comfortable and size too small compare with other hotel. The staff very courteous and helpful and location also very good.

Insufficient parking space for hotel tenants. Re-validation of parking tickets is a hassle.

We all enjoy our stay in this hotel. The staff are courteous and helpful. The hotel is in a convenient location only short distance from KL central. There is a huge Mega Mall attached to the hotel convenient for shopping!

The staff(male Indian) told me non-smoking was available, asked me which room types-double bed or twin bed I want, I told him I liked the double bed room, but when I checked in found that was twin bed room.

this is the second time i stay here, i love it for its location, although there is no wi fi but i could go to coffee bean anytime of the date to use free wifi so that is good but it makes it troublesome to make it all the way down each time. i can eat at the midvalley anytime of the time, money changer or even getting sim cards. i choose the hotel for its location :D if u need to be for internet access like 100% of the time, then don't choose this hotel.

This is a no-frills hotel. The room size was pathetically small as there was little space to move around in the room. I think the room could only accomodate a maximum of 2 adults and 1 small child. One of the elderlies cannot control his bowel movements and the bathroom floor was dirtied and smelled. The hotel housekeeping was called in to change the towel but the cleaning of the floor was inadequate. The only attraction was lots of shopping, eating places and the sheltered commuting system. Other than the convenient location, I do not think it is value for money and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who does not have high expectations from the hotel.

Hotel staff was excellent. I love the location of the hotel with many place to dine and relax. The children was happy with the environment and I'll be back.

The check in and check out process handled by the staffs were great as i dont have to wait at all unlike some others ive been to. The location were the best as it was located at midvalley shopping itself and price wise would be the most economical compared to other hotel. The lacking of fascilities would be their con as they do not have their own swimming pool and power failure were experience more than 3 time during my 3 night stay. But was recovered within minutes. The kettle was faulty when i first went in but the changed it almost immediate which i am quite happy with their service.

When my husband and I stayed at the Cititel Mid Valley 2 years ago, it was clean and well, sharp! As with most tourist class hotels in SE Asia, this Cititel was less than well maintained on our 2nd visit with members of my family in early Dec 2009. Our superior double and twin rooms were at the end of a corridor with its thinned-out floor carpet worsened by the dulled glass of the wall-lights. There was a stench outside our adjoining rooms. We certainly had our negative expectations confirmed when we got into our rooms... Both wall-papered surfaces and furniture surfaces were dull and needed thorough cleaning. Pillow-cases were clean but had that over-used, less-than-white dank look and feel. The light-shades on both sides of the beds could do with a change as some parts were peeling off. All in, the already small room looked drab and even smaller and felt like a 2-star hotel. A bigger room in Cititel's deluxe range occupied by another family in my party was not much better saved for the bigger and flat-screen tv set. The room carpet as well as the lounge chair and stool both felt quite icky to the touch. It was good that the corridor was much better lit and looked spiffier all round compared to the superior or standard rooms' corridors. So if you make Cititel your hotel of choice at the mid-valley megamall, part with an extra sgd$30 a night for the deluxe rather than their standard superior rooms. Conversely, for the same sgd$30 more, you could get a luxe experence at the Garden or Boulevard Hotel both of which adjoin the megamall just like the Cititel - but only if they have promotional rates as they are higher-end hotels. Otherwise, the difference in per night cost is closer to at least sgd$50.

Having stay in this hotel several times already, we have yet to see the change in the altitute of the management in charging a very high rates for the use of the wifi and for football, most disppointing they have yet to include the ESPN channel. At least Wifi should be available at the lobby or provided in the room but alas still nothing change yet from the hotel management. For leisure/shopping, hotel is in a good location and good food readily available at midvalley so highly recommended to those who like shopping. We do hope the Management can see to the need of the customers to provide wifi....and if they need to charge, please do charge at a reasonable rates.....and also it's high time, Cititel install the ESPN programme!!!
