I had stayed at the hotel a couple of weeks earlier with my two daughters and found its position excellent. We therefore decided to stay again for six nights when my husband and I came for the Tattoo. I felt considerably "ripped off" when we had to pay $399-00 for the Saturday night after being at the hotel from the Monday through to Saturday night. I was fully aware of the charges before we left but it still "rankles" that the Saturday charge was so excessive, particularly when we elected not to have linen changed daily thus saving the hotel laundry costs. Any future stay we will avoid a Saturday night but we had no option this visit as airline tickets had already been booked. Apart from that meals in restaurant and service was good and staff pleasant and helpful (even the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful). As a tea drinkers I do think more than four teabags could be put in the rooms and a complimentary biscuit could be given for arrival. Many thanks, we enjoyed our stay.

The ambience of the hotel is excellent, and together with the courteous and pleasant staff, we found our stay at the hotel was very pleasant.

I would have chosen your hotel previously, if the booking package had a breakfast included in the package available on last minute hotel sites, even though it of course may be a little more expensive.

Without this option, we wandered down to Darling Harbour for our breakfast.

Service with a smile, is always wonderful., and I actually felt you have the WOW factor overall. Not something I usually feel when I stay in Sydney, which is quite often.

The entry lobby to the hotel is spacious and attractive. Check in is quick , as is check out.
We found all staff friendly and helpful.
There is car parking available at a reasonable rate.
We would recommend this hotel.

The staff were very helpful and allowed me to leave luggage at the hotel prior to staying there. The car parking charges at the Hotel are not included in the Hotel rates.

I recieved *excellent* service from the staff member who checked me out - very helpful and friendly THe bathroom really was in very poor condition compared to other similarly priced/starred hotels and the bath especially was very marked and didnt seem all that clean. The room was otherwise fine though a mirror in the main part of the room would have been useful.

The hotel is near the Central train station, China Town & Darling Habour, good breakfast with nice friendly staff A very pleasant good size clean room

The Thursday, Friday, Saturday night buffet dinners provide excellent value for money. Plenty of useful items such as plenty of coathangers, Iron and ironing board as well as complimentary soaps etc. in bathroom.

The barman was especially helpful.

The hotel staff were very helpful and seemed to enjoy their work. This makes a huge difference. Only thing we didn't like was that you had to step into the bath to enter the shower. My mother is almost 90 and she found this difficult.

Bathrooms are now in need of updating otherwise the rest was fine.

The beds were hard as rocks. They need new mattresses or some sort of thickly padded mattress cover. Pillows were thin like a folded bath towels.

Staff were polite, helpful, did not use inhouse breakfast but used bar/seating in front foyer. Bed was extremely hard, EVERY tap dripped in the bathroom.
