Refurbishment going well.

A few comments please, this being my third time at the hotel. Up until now i have had no problems but on this visit the following were noted;
- the shower door was broken and difficult to use, could not be bothered to moan about it, too tired.
- there was no spoon for the tea / coffee cup
- the breakfast the following morning was busy and there was a lack of clean cutlery etc. Furthermore there was a fault with the A?C which was dripping down into the breakfast room.
- went to go for a swim at 8pm but the pool had been drained down.

The service is excellent The room is good and value the money

Hotel seemed a bit dated in terms of decor.

Rates for room were good. Broadband access was pricey, and the price for a simple Continental breakfast was excessive. Otherwise, I was satisfied. Room was satisfactory. My only comment on cleanliness is the corners of the room need to be vacuumed. Everything else was fine.

Only negative would be that we asked for tow beds and only got one plus the rollaway

please see comments above. Extremely disappointing. despite my booking for a non smoking superior double room I was allocated a smoking twin room with no bath tub. I complained and was told it was the only one available. it iwas only when I said I would simply go somewhere else 9at 1am I might add) that an executive suite was found which was better but still a smoking room. All in all extremely unimpressive service and a very old tired hotel with poor facilities and service.

Good quality hotel with good value for money. Good room with good facilities

Pool was on the roof with no facility for a wheelchair to be taken up. The food in the restaurant was very dry and tasteless. Would not recommend anyone to go there for a meal. Our dinner and breakfast at the restaurant were both very low in standard. We have had meals there before in the past few years, and they had always been excellent. we only had 1 executive suite instead of the 2 we booked. Through complaining to the hotel, we were able to get the second suite but only for 2 nights, not 3 nights. The hotel deducted the cost difference off the first night in the end.
