The Citidel Hotel is an older hotel but well maintained and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful and dealt with any problems immediately.
You couldn't ask for a better location. Within walking distance to all attractions and downtown...the pedway made walking back safe and easy at night. Would definately stay there again.

Super hotel in Halifax!

The Citadel Halifax Hotel was very convenient and clean. I found the staff to be helpful and the fitness centre and pool were great. I would recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Halifax.

The hotel is in a good location for business and leisure activities. Staff were very courteous and had a very comfortable stay. My only observation was that I felt that the hotel needs to be refurbished - a paint job would do wonders along with updating washroom. Carpets and bed covers in the rooms need to be replaced.
