Sraff were helpful and pleasant: bedroom serviced well. Room very small, very hot, no aircon, blind didn't work, Shower didn't drain properly threatening to flood room and one below, deadful noise in room from machinery overhead and refilling water tank - hard to sleep. Room needed much maintenance, very shabby woodwork, surrounds, paintwork. Found electric fan in wardrobe, thankfully, brought temp down a little. Continentalt breakfast, at £7.50 poor value, poor selection, butter liquid, coffee/tea insipid. Very little fruit, juice selection limited and not great quality, ambience ok. Good offer of cocktail with world cup game. Good start to stay but sadly went a bit downhill from there. Location great, access easy, but needs to smarten up, modernise, give value for money, get food organised to a better standard, much maintenance and renewal required. Ok, might come back but only if improvements made.

I was fist given a minuscule room ( obviously a small single) and told it was a large double. I had to complain, did get a decent-sized room ( 501).

Would have preferred to adjust heating a bit.
