Everything is OK except that my reservation which has been confirmed through internet, but the hotel staff had no knowledge of it. Lucky they have available room for me this time. What if they don't ? The room is very clean, but a bit spartan.

We had trouble getting a cab to take us to the Eurostar when we left after requesting that the hotel book one the night before and then reconfirmed our request that morning - they could not get us one thus we had to get the metro which was very unacceptable. We requested a twin room but got a double - we requested and paid for a deluxe room but I am sure this was not deluxe being at the bottom under the stairs below street level - the location was great and the amenities good.
