The hotel is excellently positioned on the Esplanade. To the rear there is pedestrian access to the lively Mitchell Street which I saw as a bonus.
The room was huge with two double beds and it was a pleasant surprise to find that the bathroom had a bath and separate shower cubicle.
The staff were very helpful, courteous and knowledgeable. I would definately recommend this hotel.

cleanliness , in general , and perhaps in particular the carpet in the room , needs improvement.

Very helpful staff particularly on the travel/tour desk and the night duty manager who promptly provided us with an extension cord required for the operation of a sleep apnea machine upon our arrival at such a late hour

Plain, unadorned but perhaps the most effective comfortabe and clean hotel room in its caregory we have stayed in.

water leaked from the shower

Good location but a shame about the overall dampness and general feeling of lethargy in the hotel ( the carpet was being replaced on our floor but we saw no action to prove it! The musty smell that pervades throughout the suite was unfortunate, however the dampness of the bed was extremely uncomfortable. why have carpets in such a high humidity area ?

situated in the center very easy to find if you arr by own car, restaurants and shops near. as the hotel is built very open, meaning lobby and rooms, you hear late arriving guests clearly (is not so good). pool very nice and comfortable to be there after a hot day only single rooms for double occupancy were available but they were large enough for two, and very charming rooms you felt good immediatly

I normally stay at this hotel with a friend almost 6 months per year but I am only recognised by the lady that serves breakfast - I have asked Gareth many times for a contract and am continually ignored - I have staying elsewhere recently
