I stayed one night at the hotel, on a visit to Sydney with friends from overseas. The hotel originally messed up my room allocation and didnt give us the beds assigned, but quickly fixed this error, then we were reassigned to another room with a rolloaway bed, which made the room very cramped. Without the rollaway bed, the room would be adequate for a short stay, and the room facilities were adequate without being outstanding. But in saying that, it is a cheaper hotel in the area,and you get what you pay for, expect a simple room and you'll be satisfied.

The excellent location was our prime reason for staying, so close to public transport.

We felt the bed was a little hard and the pillows quite uncomfortable. The tea/coffee and milk sachets were not topped up adequately. We stayed for 3 nights and found (maybe just simply overlooked) that we run out of these items.

My biggest 'complaint' was the fact that the Television could only be turned up to a certain level which made watching TV very difficult as we could barely hear it at times which was a little disappointing.

This hotel was perfectly located for shopping, transport and entertainment, with everything within very easy walking distance, especially if you want a central location and dont want to hire a car. The staff were very friendly and helpful we had a very enjoyable stay.

The room had double glazing facing the street which meant a very quiet room dispite being on the edge of china town. We had late checkout and they also allowed us to store our luggage till late that day till we caught our flight for no extra charge or hassle. In fact, I left my suit behind and they forwarded it to me COD within a week. Great service. The room, though small, was new and very clean. The same with the ensuite. Would have no trouble recommending this as a place to stay for someone just wanting a room to sleep in and shower. Very handy to China town, a 5 minute walk through a park to central station means you can catch the train from the airport and be in your room in about 30mins for $13.00, no matter what the traffic.

P.S Chat Thai, just along the road from the hotel is the BEST Thai I have ever had at the CHEAPEST price I ever had.

Would prefer if breakfast was inclusive. No laundry facilities. Staff very friendly and helful. Internet very expensive.

At any time we needed additional items in our room they were there when we returned at the end of the day. Any information we required the staff was always happy to give us. We were very surprised about being able to leave our luggage there before check in time and again after we had checked out we where able to leave it there until we needed to go to the airport. thank you to the staf. after I read some of the previous comments regarding the Capital, I was pleasantly surprised about the room. Even though it was small I was only there to sleep, there was no noise coming from any surrounding rooms, the shower was good, the only thing I didn't like was the actual shower rose.

Very central location in good proximity to everything. Excellent buffet breakfast. Room was clean and had all required amenities including fridge iron hairdryer. Was a bit on the small side.

Interesting to note that a cab fair from the airport to the hotel arriving was approx $17.00. On arranging a cab through the hotel on departure travelling from the hotel to the airport to airport @ 5:30am with comparable traffic levels the cab charge was approx $30. Thought you should know... Fit for the purpose. ie spending more time looking around the city then staying in doors

Front desk staff need more knowledge of Sydney and surrounding.

Great hotel for a short stay. Nothing flash but definitely clean and comfortable. Good breakfast buffet and excellent location. Level 2 rooms were far superior to level 3 rooms. I presume that the rooms are being renovated 1 floor at a time.

Initially the booked room was too small and the TV did not work. However, the free upgrade was much appreciated and so was the help of the staff.

we were thrilled to find it was located in such a central position. Have already recommended it to friends travelling to Sydney. the curtains did need some attention as they were coming away from their hangers.

Hotel was unwilling to refund one night's stay after one of the hotel's irons stained my shirt and their dry cleaning service could not clean it. Bedspread was stained. Bed was advertised as Queen but appeared to be only full size.

Good budget accommodation, superbly located. Enjoyed our stay very much. Breakfast great value. Rooms were fine except that our booking was for twin and we were provided with a double bed. We had to get a rollaway bed in.

It's a great price for where it's located - Chinatown. The room is small but clean, which is good enough for us!
