Every experience at this hotel is fantastic. The staff spoke good english and are helpful. We were being show to our room. The hotel has a beautiful view and the room is very clean. They even clean up the room and change of towel during the night turn down bed service. Bed is extremely comfortable and clean. I have nothing but good things to say about this hotel. Though price is on the high side, but I feel it's worth every cent you pay for.

CHR is centrally located between Brinchang and Tanah Rata, and is easily accessible by car. It is very beautiful, private, exclusive and very restful; in fact, it is so quiet, that we felt bad every time the children made even a little bit of noise. The GM, Ben, was excellent, he was very, warm and friendly and very professional. The staff were also very professional, polite and courteous. The highlight of the trip was the Jim Thompson Mystery Trail which was led by a naturalist, and provided with compliments of the hotel. The children enjoyed the jungle trek immensely. However, as the hotel is very close to the main road, the noise from heavy vehicles as well as other vehicles including motorcycles, etc. will keep light sleepers awake throughout the night. We did not dine at the hotel except to enjoy the lovely afternoon tea and scones there. The huge flight of steps at the foyer down to the carpark may deter older folk, people who use wheelchairs and/or people with walking/knee problems. Overall, we had a delightful stay and of all the resorts in Cameron Highlands, CHR is probably the creme-de-la-creme.
