Not knowing Calgary, we were checking for a Travelodge by the street number -- we did not find it. Secondly, our reservation printout indicated "Travelodge" but the Thriftlodge had our booking, and we didn't know they were related. After quite some time, and many stops along the way asking for directions, we were back at the 'Travelodge' again. This time he took our reservation printout, called the number and found we only had to go next door. Didn't he know? OR . . . could the online reservation clearly indicate between 'Thriftlodge' and 'Travelodge'?? The Thriftlodge staff were courteous, helpful and friendly. We spent little time in our room, and the only suggestion we have is to get the noise level of the air conditioner down a little . . . my wife would have appreciated a hair dryer . . .

The hotel was very convenient for my trip. Although old it was clean and well kept. The only criticism I have is noise, sound carries through the walls and feel more sound barrier should be used.

Room was very noisy, it was besides office and during the night phone was ringing, also other guests passing my room talking loud in the midnight
