Australis Cairns Beach Resort is located 10 km north (10 minutes by car) of the city. It is the nearest beachfront resort to Cairns. The area is laid back and quiet. There is a local shopping centre and local restaurants nearby.

DIRECTIONS

Driving from the airport
- At the end of Airport Drive, turn right at the lights onto the Captain Cook Highway (Sheridan Street)
- Cross the Barron River
- Go straight on at the first roundabout (past Machans Beach)
- Turn right at the second roundabout (into Holloways Beach)
- Go straight on at the first roundabout into Oleander Street
- Stay on Oleander Street through the second roundabout then continue to the beachfront
- Australis Cairns Beach Resort is on the left just before the water

Driving from Cairns/ Arriving from the south
- Follow Mulgrave Road right into Cairns. Look for the signs to Port Douglas which will direct you to turn left into Sheridan Street
- Follow Sheridan street and it becomes the Cook Highway
- Drive past the turnoff to the airport
- Cross the Barron River
- Go straight on at the first roundabout (past Machans Beach)
- Turn right at the second roundabout (into Holloways Beach)
- Go straight on at the first roundabout into Oleander Street
- Stay on Oleander Street through the second roundabout then continue to the beachfront
- Australis Cairns Beach Resort is on the left just before the water
