We had an important phone call that the hotel was not able to inform us of as they had registered us as Mr and Mrs Leif. My name is Leif (first name) Schanche (surname). I think the hotel should be able to track down their visitors even if they have (understandable) problems in knowing which is the first name and which is the surname.

Friendly, helpful staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Suitably placed for buses, metro, etc. Served its purpose functionally, quiet and warm. Only drawback - no window to look out of. Otherwise, fine.

Probably can't expect more for 80 pounds in London. under the staircase, next to AC unit (a bit noisy).

When room leak was reported the response was that nothing coulspd be done about it we would just have to put up with it.They finally moved us to a crummy hotel when the bed was too wet to sleep in. Room leaked over cupboard and bed when it rained and staff were aware prior.

The only thing letting this hotel down is the fact that they allow smokers in the lounge area which can then carry to the dining area. Although the room was on the small side it was perfectly functional and quiet at night.

The English way of using blankets and sheets instead of duvets and duvet covers is not very comfortable.

The staff were all very helpful and polite, making the stay a much more pleasant experience. Quad room was in the basement with only a window on a dirty quadrangle that received its light from the top of the building. Rooms further up the building probably would be much nicer.
