For someone of my age (60+) the walk to the tube station took 20 minutes which was too tiring. Apart from this it was OK except the perenial problem with London hotels in that all the staff are from other countries and therefore there is a cultural/communication problem. For example I requested an additional pillow and was told by the receptionist that she would ask the housekeeper if I was allowed to have one!!! Blankets which were old and thin, rather than a duvet, heating didn't seem to work. Shower curtain rail had been fixed too high the result being that every time I had a shower there was a lake on the bathroom floor.

we would of liked it to be more clear that breakfast was not included the room was clean and tidy would of liked help with case to room when we book in as there was no lift to that room
