Reviewer: Salonga Date of review: 9 February 2005 Recommends this hotel: YES Room Hotel Facilities 5 Bed 4 Ambience 5 Cleanliness 2 Service 4 Room Size 3 Location 4 Amenities 1 Value for Money 3 The location was very nice but a car or taxi is needed to travel to the main areas, which can be hired from the hotel, the services they provide are excellent and have every thing you need, The sea shells cafe was very good for evening meals and has a lovely setting at sunset time, the setting is also very nice with large gardens and 2 beaches, although Upon arrival we had to wait 2 hours for our room, Room was very bland and very plastic, furniture very poor, and the decor was very poor, the bathroom was badly lit, and the shower provided no hot water.

Pool towels insufficient for number of guests, but instead of getting more towels management put sign up saying "towel finished".

We did not expect to be staying in such a beautiful bungalow.

Restaurant service was poor though. It all took long and wasn't really up to standard. I don't like to pay 10% service charge for bad service in f.i. Sea Shell rest. It would be better to leave a tip up to the guest. Personell is very friendly but very very slow. The bathroom could use a small face lift; our room number was 1067. It had a very strange smell....
