unfortunately, i found patong not recovered from the tsunami. i could not take my original room because of the louts who were located next door yelling and shouting and drunk. I am middle aged and I like peace and quiet and dignity, i don't like hoons and partiers.
i thought that patong itself was sleazy and not the place for families or middle age or seniors. very disappointed. hotel basically had huge rooms with tons of room. but the numbering on the building was a nightmare and confusing, a bit like a maze. generally very good staff. I would not go there again. One member of breakfast staff spilt milk all over me and did not apologise, a young girl who should have been sacked. However the hotel did get my pants laundered but found I had to instigate everything myself their english wasn't all that terrific, all a bit basic really. no real choice of food. cooking really bad everywhere in patong.

Everything is great...i'll love to come back. However, my room is a bit run-down I believe some renovation is needed. During my stay, the hotel was going through some kind of renovation job on the plumbing system hence I have no water running during afternoon. The water quality was rather aweful as it is yellow and muddy at night. For better customer service, the hotel should actually pre-warn the customers and apology for the inconvenience.
