Very friendly and welcoming staff however. The room was situated right next to the area where the cleaners store their supplies and have their telephone so this was not an ideal location as noise was frequent throughout the day and early in the morning. The rooms were also rather dated and run down.

Some are with weak reception, some are not well tuned etc. Better to have some more space to bathrooms. Also the one I stayed dosen't have a bathtub.

We made use of the nearest MRT (Farrer Park) and the public buses which stop right in front of the hotel extensively. Taxis are readily available too. We requested room facing away from the main road and the noise but later found that this room is much smaller (incl. the bothroom) than those facing the road. It is a trade-off after all.

Though the management is trying their best to keep the facility very clean, the oldness of the property is very obvious. But for 80 S$ the value offered is great. Very friendly staff and helpful. Cable TV is not there which is adrawback for single travellers like me. The bathing area needs a closet as entire bathroom becomes wet.

Bath room door may be better maintained.
