lot of improvements are required in terms of facility & service. More open space is required in the room.

the only relatively good thing going for this hotel is its location, more precisely, its proximity to very good indian restaurants (jaggi's in race course road) and the famous Mustafa mall (known for great shopping deals!). hotel service was bad - even the phone operator was unwilling to lend directory assistance. the good food promo just means you get a $10 food voucher - we did not even try the restaurant anymore. the cockroaches spooked us! I never expected that from Singapore! There were small cockroaches flying around in the room. The showercurtain is slippery from all the mildew. Hairballs were everywhere, seems they do not clean up after guests stay in their rooms. there were gum stuck under tables. The stench of mothballs permeates every corner of the room.

It's good that they charged half way. In this hotel there is a provision to stay half a day.

Enhancing the ambience, hygiene should be on an ongoing process. People at the counter were courteous. Since I stayed in two different rooms on two different occassions during this trip to Singapore in Broadway - carpet smell should be taken care - it can be very repulsive.

A dated hotel that is rather worn and has little communal area to use. Very friendly and welcoming staff however. The room was situated right next to the area where the cleaners store their supplies and have their telephone so this was not an ideal location as noise was frequent throughout the day and early in the morning. The rooms were also rather dated and run down.

The room was spacious and clean.

The no. of TV channels: No of the channels should be increased to include the global news channels like CNN/BBC.

Better to tune the TV so that guests can watch all the TV channels. Some are with weak reception, some are not well tuned etc. Better to have some more space to bathrooms. Also the one I stayed dosen't have a bathtub.

Good location. We made use of the nearest MRT (Farrer Park) and the public buses which stop right in front of the hotel extensively. Taxis are readily available too. We requested room facing away from the main road and the noise but later found that this room is much smaller (incl. the bothroom) than those facing the road. It is a trade-off after all.

This seems to be a old property. Though the management is trying their best to keep the facility very clean, the oldness of the property is very obvious. But for 80 S$ the value offered is great. Very friendly staff and helpful. Cable TV is not there which is adrawback for single travellers like me. The bathing area needs a closet as entire bathroom becomes wet.

It is the typical place for Indians, particularly for South Indians, where we could get all South Indian food at good quality and price. Bath room door may be better maintained.

Rooms appear a lot better in the website than they actually are

The TV in one of the rooms did not work. Also there was no ventilation-we could not open the windows.

some little crocoach were found there around the bathroom and the carpet.

There were very two small Beds which were not good enough even for two children on a bed.

The service was poor cos i was very unhappy with the coffee shop. I never got any service from them both the days even for a cup of coffee. Room was clean and fine. Amenities like TV etc could be better.

there are no hot water or kettle

The smell outside the room and lift is not comfortable. It should be aromatic. Electric Safe, Hairdryer were not working during my staying.

The staff is very good and co operative, but the rooms can be painted in a brighter shade. Also the furniture in the room is outdated

The biggest attraction for the Hotel is its location. I found that it is wel located in Serangoon Road and surrounded by great eateries all -over, particularly if you are a vegetarian. Rooms are functional and moderately clean

The room is worth the price you pay.

there was a kind of smell in da corridor as well as in the room.so we just stayed there for the night and the next day shifted out to another hotel.

The staff could not have been more helpfull. The hotel was value for the money it cost. After being given a large room we chose a smaller one at the back of the hotel rather than the street side. It was our own choice.

Very friendly staff. Good service and homely atmosphere. The 5-bed family room is excellent value for money. However a hairdryer should be provided in the room. The double bedrooms need renovation.
